Wayne joined Nationwide Insurance corporate in 1979 following graduation from the University of Florida. Four years later he moved to Venice opening the Roberts Insurance Agency with his wife, Karen. Since then Wayne has been an active community partner serving in many capacities including boards for the Venice Area Chamber, United Way and Big Brothers, Big Sisters. He has been a coach and continues to sponsor Little League teams, coached YMCA basketball, T-ball, and is a charter member of the Diamond Boosters. Wayne is a long standing member of the Sertoma Club of Venice. He is an originial Director and continues to serve The Bank of Venice.

Bill, a graduate of the University of South Florida, joined the Roberts team in 1993 under the Associate Agent Program. In addition to his agent duties, Bill served as Personal Lines Manager prior to assuming his role as President. He is an active community member having served on Venice City Council, Past President of Venice Area Beautification, Inc., and the Vencie/Nokomis Rotary. He served six years on the board of the Venica Area Chamber of Commerce plus serving on or chairing numerous other Chamber committees. He is currently a member of Sertoma Club of Venice.

Jim has been an experienced member of the Roberts team for over nine years. He holds a masters degree in business management and worked as a senior executive in international marketing prior to moving his family back to their hometown of Venice. Jim is a board member and Past President of the Sertoma Club of Venice. He served on the Rotary Futures board, and on the former City of Venice Board of Zoning Appeals. Danny joined the Roberts Insurance Group team as an Associate Agent in 2002. He specializes in Personal Lines as well as Commercial insurance. Danny is very active with the Venice Little League where he coaches the Senior Division. He also enjoys helping the Venice High School athletic programs with various Booster programs to help fund their activities. Danny with his wife, Judy, moved to the Venice area in 1989. They have three children.

Tim who was born and raised in Cleveland, Ohio has been a resident of the Venice community for the past fifteen years. A graduate of the University of Dayton, Tim has been active in business management for over twenty five years. Prior to joining the Roberts team, Tim and his wife Cheri, owned the "Mobil Venice Island" for several years. Tim, Cheri and their children, Patrick and Jennifer are all active members of their Venice community and The Epiphany Cathedral Parrish.

Steven is a true native having been born and raised in Venice. Although a graduate of Pine View High School for gifted students, he played varsity baseball for the Venice Indians. Steven graduated from Florida State University with a degree in Economics and a minor in Business. While a student at FSU he was part of a medical group that traveled abroad providing free medical services to those in need. Steven is active in the Venice Area Chamber of Commerce, and is a member of the Venice Area Young Professionals. He devotes time to coaching youth athletics and enjoys fishing, golf, and the outdoors.

Matt was born and raised in Venice, and grew up playing Pop Warner football and Little League. While attending Venice High he was captain of the school's first undefeated State Championship football team. Matt then attended Hillsdale College in Michigan on a football scholarship and graduated with a degree in Marketing / Management. After graduation Matt returned to his hometown in 2006 joining the Roberts Insurance Group team. He is currently active in the Venice Area Young Professionals and coaches Venice Vikings football. In his leisure time he enjoys golfing, fishing, and all other water related activities.
